Pasta with Caramelized Tomatoes and Yogurt Recipe

We woke up a bit late after enjoying a big dinner and plenty of wine the night before. Once we were ready and had packed our things, we headed to our homestay family’s small dining room for breakfast.

All that was expected of her was the same thing expected of Lara Stone: to take a great photo.

We were on our way to the Rila Mountains, planning to visit the Rila Monastery. There, we had scrambled eggs, toast, mekitsi, local jam, and peppermint tea. We walked around with other tourists, but surprisingly, it didn’t feel crowded. Maybe it was because the place was so large, or most people stayed near the main church, but I didn’t feel overwhelmed by the crowd.

We explored the site along with other tourists.

Strangely, the place didn’t feel crowded. I’m not sure if it was because the area was so large or if most people stayed near the main church and didn’t explore further, but I didn’t feel overwhelmed by tourists at the monastery.

Headed over Lions Bridge and made our way to the Sofia Synagogue, then sheltered in the Central Market Hall until the recurrent (but short-lived) mid-afternoon rain passed.

After a quick espresso, we walked to the small but welcoming Banya Bashi Mosque, then explored the ancient Serdica complex.

After a long day of traveling, we were exhausted and went back to the hotel to rest.

At first, I didn’t expect much from Sofia, but after taking a walking tour, I really liked the city. It was easy to explore, and it turned out to be beautiful, even though the outer parts looked plain and industrial. Sofia may not impress you at first, but once you explore the old town, it feels like a completely different place.

Fashion can change how you feel and boost your confidence. Trends change quickly, and if you don’t have a clear style, you can lose your identity. I like to keep things real, without overthinking or overdoing it. It’s important to stay true to where you come from because that’s the heart of your brand.
